About Ink Lab Designs and our printing capabilities.
There are a few reasons:
1. We have been printing for over 10 years now, and believe we have found the best print method that is more durable and vibrant than most other companies can provide. Other printing methods either crack or fade over time and ours will not as long as you care for it properly. Even if not cared for properly, it is more forgiving than the other printing methods out there.
2. Our price as far as we know is the lowest out there. No hidden fees or shipping costs. Please however be aware that we are forced by law to charge a sales tax.
3. The larger companies make things very complicated. With us, it’s simple. Send us the design, tell us what sizes and color shirts you want, and we’ll get it done for you.
4. Because we’re a small family run business, we can be personable with our customers and pay close attention to your order. We’re at your reach whenever you need us…at reasonable hours of course.
We use high quality printers that print special stretchy ink onto film, and then get pressed onto the garment and into the fibers. Here are the reasons we prefer this method:
– Extremely durable. The design will never crack or fade even if you were to stretch it, as long as proper care when washing is done.
– With screen printing, you will find that all companies need at least a minimum order of 12 or more. With our method, the minimum is 1. Many people think our method feels like screen prints or plastisol transfers.
– Similar to screen printing and unlike vinyl, we can print very detailed designs using this method.Add Image
If it’s a huge blocky design, for example: a photograph or a solid square print, it will feel more stiff than if there was negative space throughout. Most designs do not have this problem. When you send us your design, we will take a look and let you know immediately if there would be any concerns with the image you send us.
Almost any design will work, but it is important to send us a high quality image of it. Otherwise, it may be blurry or have artifacts that will not look good. Here is a guideline on how the artwork should be prepared:
If a design were to not work for whatever reason, we would let you know.
Upon ordering, there will be a check box that you will be required to click that states you have permission to use the design. If you check it but do not have permission, you will be held responsible if any issues from the designer were to arise.
It truthfully depends on the design. You can read the guidelines on what we need for the design: HERE. If there is an issue we can help you with, we absolutely will. If it is a design that requires a lot of labor, we will have to direct you to a designer outside of our business that can help.
We typically only allow this if you use the same brand/style shirt that we offer. The reason for that is if on a rare occasion a shirt were to get damaged, we could easily get it replaced. If you insist on bringing your own, we cannot be held responsible if something were to go wrong. We suggest bringing us backups if you go that route.
Payment/Shipping/Returns
The $17 price is for the Gildan Heavy Cotton t-shirt, sizes Small to X-Large. Here are the prices for our other sizes and brands:
Payment is required after you send us the order request, and we approve the design…before any actual printing is done. We can’t take the chance of making the shirt and then the customer deciding to change their mind. Since the shirt is customized, we would be unable to sell it to anyone else.
Because we promise to ship the next business day, it is VERY important you cancel the same day that your order is placed. If it’s not, then we cannot cancel or refund your order.
We have most access to Gildan t-shirts. We ship these the next business day after you approve of the design. For other brands, it will take an additional 20-3 days to ship since we don’t usually keep them in stock. Please keep in mind that delivery timing is entirely in the hands of the shipping carrier we use.
We stand behind the quality of our prints. Once you approve and we get the shirt made, we unfortunately can’t take returns since it is a customized product. If for any reason something were to be very off, or if there was anything missed upon inspection, we would replace it at our cost or give you a full refund as long as you can provide a picture of the problem.
Each brand on the product page will have a size chart. It’s best to measure your favorite shirt and compare it to the size charts we have, and then choose what matches the closest. It is VERY important that you know what you are ordering. As mentioned earlier, we cannot give refunds or take returns on customized products. If you are still unsure on the fit before ordering your customized shirt, you can order a blank shirt from us to test out.
